STORY OF ORIGAMI
Origami is a Japanese art form that involves carefully folding paper to form complex shapes. It involves folding a flat sheet of paper multiple times to create unique shapes and sculptures. My first exposure with origami was through the story of “1,000 Paper Cranes”, which tells the touching tale of Sadako Sasaki, a young Japanese girl and victim of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
She folded over 1,000 cranes with the hope that she would recover and return home. Deeply touched by her story, I decided to fold my first paper crane. Although it took me a great deal of time and effort to complete, I felt a strong sense of accomplishment and deserve. That was the moment origami truly attracted me.

Origami collection
Origami not only teaches me patience, dexterity, and creativity, but it also serves as a calming, therapeutic practice. The joy and inspiration I feel when finishing a piece cannot be expressed in words. Therefore, I began to find out more challenging and intricate origami projects, not just to test my skills, but to rediscover that sense of fulfillment and inspiration.
